Tet [trans.] Vietnamese Lunar New Year festival
New Year dishes are more than just good food. There are teaching values and spirits of centuries of traditions in every dish. Only with a table full of flavors, a Vietnamese family can then show the full respect to their ancestors during the Lunar New Year.
In 2018, for the very first time, we decided to pay tribute to traditions by integrating hundreds of meaningful Tet values into a single special dish—“The Vietnamese New Year Weilington” (with a hundred meanings). Together with MAGGI and 03 renowned local chefs, we aimed to create a new dish that embodies New Year's blessings, while teaching the spirit of bonding during Tet, all in line with MAGGI's "cook the difference" motto.
RESULT
We were fortunately enough to receive a GOLD in ‘Vietnam 50 best fried dishes’ in a food festival
